LIFE

In Loving Memory

Today was your funeral…
You were very old but so young at heart…
I remember your amazing stories of your past…
You saw so many things in this world…
Traveled across the U.S. in the back of a train…
Saw old country shootouts…

And then there was those times you came over to our house…
You started a union to try and get my mom a new fridge…it worked…
Every time you would eat a meal you would rub your belly and say “happy belly happy belly”…
One time for no reason at all you brought me a box of vienna sausages cause you knew I liked them…
And not to mention all of the fun times fishing…trolling on Smith Lake…

I am sorry that I couldn’t be at your funeral today…
But know that I remembered you today…
I know my dad is really missing you…
You meant so much to him…
I’m sorry you had to go…
But I know that you are happy now…at least I hope so…
Bye Uncle Harry…
Rest In Peace…
